Hello and welcome,

I'm JP Ulens and I live in Gingelom, a small rural country town in the heart of Haspengouw, Belgian's fruit producing region.
I put my first steps in dogsport in 1975 with a Belgian Shepherd Groenendael in Belgian Ring.
In the late seventies, I started the brand new IPO program with my Dobermann. I trained different kinds of breeds but foremost German Shepherds until 2001.
At that time, I bought my first Malinois, a female called Amber van de Emmelenhoek. With her I would start my kennel Van het Dreiland, which means in old Flemish 'from the three countries', as we border upon three provinces.
My striving goal is to breed a healthy, stable and well-balanced Malinois that has the required qualities for sports and policework.
I currently train my dogs in the GHP program, formerly IPO and Sch, at OTV Lummen and I want to thank our helper, Stefan Youck, for the excellent work. Also a special thanks to Jean-François Thonnon from the Club Canin de Hesbaye.

Enjoy your visit,

JP
